  • RIMS NeXtGen Summit 2016

    June 5 - 6, 2016
RIMS’ NeXtGen Summit 2016 is a can’t-miss educational and networking event for rising risk professionals. This inaugural event is designed to engage and educate rising risk professionals—most of whom are in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties—and help shift their careers into a higher gear.

Education Focus - Sessions will cover a wide array of exciting risk management topics that will accomplish the following:
~ Describe and teach risk management best practices, with an early career audience in mind
~ Explain complicated insurance or risk finance theories or tools
~ Enhance the soft skills needed to navigate corporate structures and politics, with an eye on championing risk management

The NeXtGen Summit also offers the benefit of overlapping with the RIMS Legislative Summit meetings on Capitol Hill. NeXtGen attendees will have the opportunity to extend their stay in the nation’s capital to attend meetings with representatives and discuss the important legal issues facing the risk management industry.
